AgriFoodBoost

Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) is a partner in the H2020 twinning project AgriFoodBoost, led by the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Agriculture (FAZ). The project is also twinned with Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna (UNIBO) and Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences - Uppsala (SLU).The implementation of the AgriFoodBoost project started on 1 October 2020 and will last 3 years. The total value of the project is EUR 899,315. The main aim of the project is to improve research excellence and scientific visibility of agri-food economics at the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb. AgriFoodBoost focuses on the use of experimental economics in the fields of agriculture, food and environment.

His research interests are focused on decision making across a broad spectrum of topics pertinent to agricultural/food economics. His contributions are notably diversified spanning the area of contingent valuation and experimental auctions methods, choice under risk, inter-temporal decision making and applied demand analysis. Most of his research applies experimental economics methods to answer questions relevant to agricultural economists and decision scientists.
